Welcome back to Term 2!

Welcome back to Term 2! We have had a busy week so far! A newsletter will be sent home tomorrow, updating you on the happenings of the term ahead.

Each class has been given a cross, representing a Soldier who died in WW1. You might like to see if you can find out any information on the soldier our class has been given.

AWESOME TERM ONE!!!!!

This term we have learned more about our class and bonded with them.  We have been working on our personal newspaper and finished our letters to the amazing Black Caps. Earlier in the term we started collaborative maths.

If you didn't know this is Paige & Georgia telling you about this term.

The Twitter chat this term we have talked about using Twitter in our class and we do questions on kidsedchatnz. The questions we have done are about food and nutrition, sport, digital safety, creativity and ANZAC.  Next term we are going to do a book chat with Selwyn House kids.

This term we had three different sports you could play, cricket, ripper rugby and tee ball. The girls Cricket A team won all their games and played there finals in the CWC oval. They even won against the staff by a lot of runs. We have had lots of trials for next seasons sport like hockey, soccer, netball, basketball and more.

We are looking forward to next term!

Twitter Design Competition

After our awesome Twitter chat today we were thinking about what we should do for our profile picture on our class Twitter profile.

I think it would be fantastic if someone in our class designed a logo for us so we could use it as our profile picture on Twitter.

It needs to include the words 'Team 23' and be colourful. See the 'POD 11' logo as an example. There are also some examples of other logos below.

Have fun designing! Designs are due to me by next Tuesday.
